The music for the cinema is a more or less important aspect in many composers of XX century, although few times is it a breeding-ground for novelties in musical language. On the contrary, it usually feeds itself on the already consolidated languages of chamber and symphonic music of the XIX and first half of XX centuries, and in this respect Francisco Guerrero was not an exception.
